QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
0 – 1 years of relevant experience (internships in audit/accounting a plus).
CPA candidate or intent to pursue CPA licensure strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of GAAP; exposure to GAAS a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite.
Familiarity with audit or accounting software a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to travel to client sites with senior team members, as needed.
ResponsibilitiesApply learned assurance procedures (under applicable standards) in performing audit, review, and compilation engagements under the supervision of senior management.
Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and internal control evaluations.
Prepare work papers and supporting documentation in accordance with firm and professional standards.
Assist with financial statement preparation and footnote disclosures under GAAP.
Help prepare various audit statements, findings, and financial reports.
Identify and communicate accounting/audit issues to engagement leadership.
Perform reconciliations, vouching, and testing of transactions and account balances.
Participate in client walkthroughs and fieldwork.
Manage time effectively to meet engagement deadlines and budgets.
Prepare financial statements and maintain client correspondence.
Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
Participate and provide input in planning and engagement team meetings.
Adhere to firm's quality control policies and procedures.
Maintain familiarity with firm's policies, procedures, forms, and online tools/software.
Participate in training and educational opportunities.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by Cg Senior Management, when necessary.
This position is hybrid; a combination of remote and in-office/client work. In-office and client work will be determined by Cg management and/or client needs.

Salary Range$68,000 - $72,000 annually
