Senior Estimator/PM
Experience: Senior Level
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
Job DetailsKey Responsibilities
- Lead preconstruction and estimating efforts for commercial construction projects from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and value engineering recommendations.
- Develop and manage subcontractor and vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and successful project delivery.
- Evaluate project risks, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and protect project margins.
- Prepare comprehensive estimates, proposals, budgets, and bid packages.
- Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and project teams throughout the preconstruction process.
- Support project management teams with buyout, change order management, and cost forecasting.
- Monitor project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Participate in client presentations, negotiations, and project award meetings.
- 10+ years of commercial construction estimating and/or preconstruction experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial building systems and interior construction trades, including drywall, framing, carpentry, doors, hardware, specialties, and finish work.
- Experience estimating and managing multi‑million‑dollar commercial construction projects.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractor buyout, vendor negotiations, and change orders.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, costs, margins, and project profitability.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
