Chief Financial Officer – Asbury Park City

Due to retirement, the City of Asbury Park seeks a full-time CFO. This person will report directly to the City Manager. The CFO oversees all municipal financial operations, including budget development, annual financial and debt statement preparation, financial planning, debt management, cash management, audit coordination, and supervision of Finance Department Operations. The CFO oversees a Current Fund Budget of $63,, Sewer Utility Budget of $5,, Beach Budget of $3, and Transportation Budget of $5, and an active capital program.

A valid New Jersey CMFO license preferred but will consider candidates who are able to obtain their CMFO license within two years. A minimum of five (5) years of municipal finance experience preferred. Benefits Offered:
