School Nurse; Licensed Practical Nurse; Asbury Park, NJ

This part-time role involves working closely with one school, providing essential tube feeding and catheterization support. Youll be a key member of the care team, ensuring students safety and well-being during their school day routine. The schedule is uniquely structured for work-life balance:
Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 8:00 am, with additional afternoon/evening hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This role totals 22 hours per week, making it ideal for nurses seeking flexibility while maintaining meaningful patient interaction.

Key Qualifications &

Experience:

• Current, active LPN license for the state of New Jersey
• Experience with tube feeding and catheterization (pediatric or school-based settings preferred)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Aptitude for working independently within a school environment
• Willingness to complete all onboarding requirements, including two sets of fingerprints
• Dedicated to supporting student needs with sensitivity and professionalism

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care including tube feedings and catheterization
• Collaborate with school support staff and supervising RN/LPNs
• Monitor student health conditions effectively throughout assigned shifts
• Maintain accurate documentation following school health protocols
• Participate in training and integrate best practices learned
