Location: Loudoun County, VA (Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week; initial training period onsite)
Assignment Type: Permanent Hire
Compensation: $110,000–$120,000 base salary + bonus potential
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job DescriptionOur client is seeking an Accounting Manager to support financial reporting, internal controls, and audit activities within a large, multi-entity corporate environment. This role is highly collaborative and partners cross-functionally to ensure compliance, strengthen internal controls, and support accurate financial operations.
The Accounting Manager plays a key role in control assessments, financial analysis, and close processes, while also supporting and mentoring members of the accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys balancing technical accounting with operational partnership.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate internal control activities and support audit initiatives
- Execute internal control processes aligned with accounting standards and corporate requirements
- Manage and support control assessments, documentation, and compliance readiness
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information
- Support general ledger activities and account reconciliations
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Conduct financial analysis and provide reporting insights
- Assist in strengthening processes and internal controls
- Mentor and support accounting team members
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of corporate accounting experience
- Strong background in internal controls and audit
- SOX testing experience required
- Knowledge of GAAP; exposure to IFRS a plus
- Experience working in large, complex organizations
- ERP system experience; SAP preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
