Accounting Manager

Location: Loudoun County, VA (Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week; initial training period onsite)

Assignment Type: Permanent Hire

Compensation: $110,000–$120,000 base salary + bonus potential

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to support financial reporting, internal controls, and audit activities within a large, multi-entity corporate environment. This role is highly collaborative and partners cross-functionally to ensure compliance, strengthen internal controls, and support accurate financial operations.

The Accounting Manager plays a key role in control assessments, financial analysis, and close processes, while also supporting and mentoring members of the accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys balancing technical accounting with operational partnership.

• Coordinate internal control activities and support audit initiatives
• Execute internal control processes aligned with accounting standards and corporate requirements
• Manage and support control assessments, documentation, and compliance readiness
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information
• Support general ledger activities and account reconciliations
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Conduct financial analysis and provide reporting insights
• Assist in strengthening processes and internal controls
• Mentor and support accounting team members
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of corporate accounting experience
• Strong background in internal controls and audit
• SOX testing experience required
• Knowledge of GAAP; exposure to IFRS a plus
• Experience working in large, complex organizations
• ERP system experience; SAP preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
