Microsoft Business Analyst (Junior to Mid-Level) Role Snapshot

As a Microsoft Business Analyst (Junior to Mid-Level), you will support the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes across Microsoft-centric environments. Success in this role is defined by clear, actionable requirements, strong stakeholder alignment, and solutions that enhance collaboration, reporting, and operational efficiency.

• Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements from stakeholders
• Support initiatives aligned to Microsoft 365 / Office 365 workflows and collaboration tools
• Analyze current‑state processes and assist in defining future‑state improvements
• Partner with technical teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements
• Assist with data analysis and reporting using Microsoft-based tools where applicable
• Maintain requirements documentation, process flows, and meeting notes in Microsoft collaboration tools
• Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet business needs

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Public Policy, Computer Science, or related field
• 3–6 years of professional experience in business analysis, process analysis, or related roles
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
• Comfort working in Microsoft‑centric environments, including Microsoft 365 tools

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an Agency Public Trust clearance
• Microsoft Certified:
  Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
• Microsoft Certified:
  Power Platform Fundamentals (PL‑900)
• Microsoft Certified:
  Power BI Data Analyst Associate
• CBAP®, CCBA®, or ECBA™ certification
• SAFe® Business Analyst (SAFe BA) or SAFe® Agilist (SA)
• Project Management Professional (PMP®) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®)
• Experience supporting business process improvement, reporting, or data‑driven decision‑making initiatives

Hybrid role with some travel to Danville, Virginia, as needed.

Home base will be Right Seat.

AI HQ in Ashburn, Virginia, and/or remote from home after 90 days.
