IPA Project Analysts meet with clients in person to collect project data and discover areas of risk. After analyzing those data using our proprietary models, the Project Analyst delivers the results in reports and presentations to provide insights and recommendations. As Project Analysts advance within IPA, the role expands to client engagement leadership, system diagnosis and consulting, training and workshop facilitation, and project data analysis and research.
The role focuses on the industrial world, assessing projects and projects systems in different sectors. The role has potential to become a trusted advisor in your specialization in Industry. The Project Analyst will lead evaluations, working with some of the largest and most influential companies in the world to improve the effectiveness of their capital projects.

- Demonstrable English language oral and written communication skills; fluency in Spanish or French is an advantage
- Positive attitude and willingness to work both independently and collaboratively within the IPA organization
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships at senior levels with client companies
- Ability to thrive in a diverse environment, bridge cultural gaps, and build strong relationships across all backgrounds
- An advanced degree in economics, engineering, science, or related fields
- 2+ years of professional industry experience or equivalent
- The position is located in Ashburn VA, and candidates must be willing to relocate within commuting distance (the Greater Washington, DC, area [DC/MD/VA])
- This position is work from office with up to 30 percent travel, including international travel
Salary and Benefits Package
The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 – $100,000. Compensation is negotiable and based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
