Location:

Shift: Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pm (some OT when needed)
Type: direct hire (salary)

Key Responsibilities:

SAFETY PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING
- Program Authoring:
Develop and maintain JHAs/JSAs, safety bulletins, policies, training content, and multimedia learning resources.
- Training Delivery:
Lead classroom sessions, toolbox talks, monthly refreshers, e-learning courses, and practical exercises.
- Training Administration:
Schedule required training, track completion and competency, and maintain records for audits and client reviews.
HAZARD ANALYSIS & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
- Job Hazard Analysis:
Facilitate JHAs/JSAs for routine and non-routine work in partnership with supervisors and operations teams.
- Safe Work Documentation:
Maintain current procedures, critical task checklists, bulletins, safety metrics/KPIs, and compliance materials.
- Audit Support:
Assist with inspections and audits; document findings, corrective actions, and completion status.
FIELD SAFETY OVERSIGHT & PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT
- Worksite Observations:
Verify critical controls are understood and consistently used in field and production environments.
- Pre-Job Planning:
Review work scopes, identify hazards, and confirm appropriate controls before work begins.
- Safety Performance:
Monitor training and hazard-control indicators, identify improvement opportunities, and present recommendations to leadership.

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor"s degree in a related field desired; may be substituted with trade school, an applicable professional certification, or at least three years of relevant experience.
- Experience or education developing safety programs and training.
- Basic understanding of EHS principles, program design, training principles, and adult learning methodology.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Canva, SharePoint, or similar tools.
