The Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for construction projects from concept through award. This role partners closely with project teams to ensure pricing accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability.

Description

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates using drawings, specifications, and takeoffs
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure competitive and complete bids
• Collaborate with project managers and operations teams during preconstruction
• Identify risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities during the estimating process
• Support bid submissions, value engineering, and proposal reviews

Profile

• Experience estimating construction projects, ideally in commercial or general contracting
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and contract documents
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong communication and organizational skills
