Are you passionate about making a difference in students’ lives? Novastar Prep is seeking a dedicated part-time, in-person Math Tutor to support a 3rd-grade student in Ashburn, VA.

Whether you're an experienced educator or someone with a strong academic background, this is your opportunity to work 1:1 with students in a supportive and personalized environment. We also offer remote tutoring opportunities, as well as in-person tutoring opportunities in Great Falls, Vienna, Oakton, Herndon, Falls Church, McLean, Reston, and surrounding areas.

• Personalized Tutoring: Work consistently with the same students, allowing you to build strong, impactful relationships and track their progress over time.
• Flexible Scheduling: Set your own hours and choose locations that are convenient for you, creating a schedule that fits your life.
• Competitive Pay: Start at $30 per hour, with opportunities for additional earnings based on your experience and the location of tutoring.

Provide one-on-one math tutoring to a 3rd-grade student in-person, following individualized learning plans. Track student progress, adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning styles, and communicate with families and coordinators as needed.

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience: 1 year+ in tutoring or teaching is essential.

• Reliable Transportation: A dependable vehicle is necessary for travel to in-person sessions.
