Preschool Teacher

The Learning Experience - Ashburn is seeking a caring and experienced Preschool Teacher to support children ages 3-5 in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development.

This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating engaging classroom experiences where children build independence, communication skills, and strong early learning foundations through hands-on activities and guided routines.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities

* Support early literacy, math readiness, and problem-solving development

* Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment

* Encourage positive social interaction and classroom participation

* Guide children through learning centers, meals, and classroom transitions

* Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress and activities

* Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership

* Follow Virginia childcare licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

* Prior childcare or preschool classroom experience required

* CDA preferred but not required

* Strong communication and classroom management skills

* Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented approach

* Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
