Job Overview
Will instruct students in grades 6
-9 on the beginning skills needed for a variety of activities.
- Coordinate with program director and Fine Arts Supervisor in securing required supplies and materials for the program
- Attend an after-school training workshop
- Plan and implement an engaging, age appropriate sequence of instruction
- Plan and implement a concluding event which highlights student work
- Assist Program Director with duties as required and assigned to ensure student safety
- Must be able to attend for all scheduled days of the Summer in the Arts program
- Must hold a valid Virginia teaching license endorsement in the assigned instructional course
