Do you bring out the star in your students? Taylor Robinson Music is looking for private music instructors who share the philosophy of "Learn to Play From the Heart". We strive to make music lessons accessible and affordable to as many people as possible, believing that music education is essential for a better, happier world.

We have no brick‑and‑mortar studio in the Ashburn area, yet we have students needing teachers ASAP. Lessons can take place in the students’ homes, in your own home or studio, or via webcam, though webcam lessons are a small portion of our base. Most students prefer in‑person lessons, so we need local instructors willing to travel within the Ashburn, VA area.

As an independent contractor, you will be compensated $20–$30 per hour, depending on travel time, experience/education, and student retention. You have the freedom to set your own schedule and curriculum, while we handle advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to let you focus on music.

We value instructors who are great with kids, love teaching, communicate well with our office, and are organized and punctual. Formal music training is not mandatory, but you must possess at least one of the following: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience.

Additional pandemic precautions: while some students use webcam, most prefer in‑person. You must wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing as needed.
