Math and Reading Tutors

Responsibilities

• Teach math topics ranging from lower level math, Pre‑Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Pre‑Calculus (including AP), through AP Calculus A/B, as well as SAT and ACT‑level math.
• Teach reading comprehension, vocabulary development, grammar, and writing skills at all grade levels, including the possibility of SAT/ACT‑level reading and grammar.
• Teach science topics such as chemistry, physics, and biology at both non‑AP and AP levels.
• Work with students in 1‑to‑1 settings, with potential to work with 1–3 students as needed.
• Flexible, part‑time hours including afternoon, evening, weekend, and summer; open every day.
• No lesson plan writing, curriculum development, or parent‑teacher conferences required.

• Bachelor's degree (4‑year) required.
• In‑person position; candidates must be able to work on site.
• Certification or license is a plus, but not required.
• Experience can vary; current and retired teachers, as well as professionals with subject expertise, are encouraged to apply.
• Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to student success.

• Hourly rate based on experience, capabilities, and availability.
• Flexible, part‑time schedule with no lesson planning or curriculum development responsibilities.
