Daycare Teacher

Kiddie Academy is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and dependable Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity, allowing both you and our academy to ensure it's the right fit.

The role begins as an hourly position, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position with benefits after approximately six months, based on performance, attendance, professionalism, and academy needs.

We're looking for someone who genuinely loves working with children, enjoys teaching through play, and can help children from infancy through preschool reach important developmental milestones. • Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development.
• Assist with daily classroom routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, nap time, and transitions.
• Observe and document children's developmental progress.
• Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's growth and daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom that meets licensing and Kiddie Academy standards.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and academy leadership to provide exceptional care and education.

• Previous experience in a licensed daycare, preschool, or childcare center preferred.
• Genuine passion for working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
• Patient, caring, enthusiastic, dependable, and professional.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are preferred but not required.

• Experience creating engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, or other social media platforms.
• Basic Canva or graphic design skills.
• Ability to capture classroom photos and videos while following privacy policies.
• Interest in helping promote academy events, enrollment, and community engagement through social media.
