The Learning Experience – Ashburn is seeking a caring and experienced Preschool Teacher to support children ages 3–5 in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating engaging classroom experiences where children build independence, communication skills, and strong early learning foundations through hands-on activities and guided routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities
• Support early literacy, math readiness, and problem-solving development
• Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Encourage positive social interaction and classroom participation
• Guide children through learning centers, meals, and classroom transitions
• Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress and activities
• Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
• Follow Virginia childcare licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Prior childcare or preschool classroom experience required
• CDA preferred but not required
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented approach
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
