Senior Printed Wiring Board Design Engineer
We have a great opportunity for a Senior Printed Wiring Board Design Engineer to join our team in the Defense Solutions Group at Curtiss‑Wright Corporation.

- Generate PCB CAD layout design data to meet product requirements.
- Check completed design layouts and drawings to certify standards, procedures, specifications, manufacturability and accuracy of physical dimensions.
- Conduct comprehensive design reviews with engineering and manufacturing teams to confirm costs and requirements.
- Plan and execute PCB design tasks in accordance with project schedules.
- Participate in PCB product failure analysis and provide insight and/or recommendations.
- Release completed designs into CW Document Control System (Agile) and assure conformity to standards.
- Associate of Science (AS) degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience (10+ years preferred) in routing mixed‑signal, high‑speed digital (100–400 GHz), analog and low‑power high‑current designs in high‑reliability environments.
- Extensive knowledge of high‑density interconnect (HDI) design, including dense double‑sided PCBs with 26+ layers / multiple lamination, rigid blind/buried via and u‑Via structures.
- Solid command of Siemens Expedition (PCB) and Siemens Expedition DX Designer (SCH) tools.
- Ability to generate parts for the PCB environment and update/maintain libraries and integrate with SCH files.
- Ability to generate fabrication drawings per ASME and CW standards.
- Understanding of IPC‑6012, IPC‑6014, IPC‑7351 industry standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office:
Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. - Excellent communication skills and ability to present ideas to peer teams.
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines in a high‑pressure environment.
- Self‑starter who can work through ambiguity and evolving project requirements.
- Leadership and mentoring ability to guide complex designs to completion in a schedule‑driven, team‑based project.
