Location:
Remote (75% travel)
Schedule:
Mon - Fri, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Compensation: $100,000K-$150000K DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- System Commissioning: Set up and program high-end power meters and energy-monitoring hardware.
- Technical Diagnostics: Use hardware tools to analyze power quality (harmonics, voltage sags, and transients).
- Network Integration: Configure industrial communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP) to connect hardware to site-wide monitoring software.
- Client Advisory: Work directly with data center engineers to troubleshoot electrical distribution issues and improve system reliability.
- Technical Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering or 3+ years' experience in field support, installation, or commissioning of hardware/software systems).
- Power Knowledge: Solid understanding of 3-phase power, switch gear, and electrical schematics.
- Protocol Skills: Experience with RS485, Modbus, or similar industrial networking.
- Mobility: Ability to support regional sites in the Northern Virginia area.
