Project Leader; Cabling Focus

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Project Leader for a leadership position. The role supports overall strategy, execution of deliverables, project completion, and profitable outcomes. It is a direct on‑site placement at Ashburn, Virginia, and provides overall development, training, and leadership to Junior Project Leaders, Field‑Superintendents, and Trades personnel in strategic planning, overall implementation, and project ownership. This is a great opportunity to join rapidly expanding datacenter work in the NOVA region.

• Proficient understanding and knowledge of Telecommunication Systems including Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling, CCTV, OSP & ISP Copper, along with DAS.
• Lead the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
• Assist the project Superintendent and Engineering in preparing project documentation, project layout, and field office support.
• Coordinate and run a project kick‑off meeting (PKOM) and key monthly project (KPR) reviews.
• Research and compile submittals, identify/pricing change orders and prepare estimates for projects.

• 5+ years of experience in construction specific to Telecommunications & Security Systems with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or an Engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling Method and General Contractor Schedules.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience and established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to Federal Aviation & Government Airports, Higher‑Education, and Information Transit Systems.
• Ability to use software including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Accubid, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office.
• No clearance required, but ability to obtain one if needed.

• Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000, depending on experience.
