Civil Project Manager/Senior Project Manager - Stormwater

Location:

Ashburn, VA

• Successfully manage assigned projects and develop client accounts
• Handle marketing and client development, maintain technical quality, profitability, and schedule
• Coordinate project staff, communicate with clients, negotiate scopes and fees, manage billing and fee collection, and perform client follow‑up maintenance
• Build superior client relationships and cross‑sell Timmons Group services beyond direct expertise, with ongoing communication with the Group Leader
• Manage several mid‑sized projects, multiple small projects, or a single larger project simultaneously
• Prepare specifications, materials, installation, inspection, and payment items using research and manufacturing catalogs
• Complete design details and plan sets
• Conduct research and write objective summary reports for project completion or inspection
• Collaborate with local governments on TMDL and MS4 regulatory compliance issues

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering with equivalent work experience and professional registration (P.E.) in Virginia, or obtain P.E. registration in Virginia or another applicable state in a timely manner
• 6+ years of civil engineering experience related to stormwater management
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedule and budget for multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in marketing and supervising technical work of others
• Working knowledge of CADD or Civil 3D software (Civil 3D preferred)

Expected salary range: $90,000–$140,000. Offers are based on factors such as internal equity, experience, skills, education, credentials, and role complexity.
