We are seeking two high-performing Transport Engineers to support network modernization and facility consolidation initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a key engineering resource for Data Center projects, collaborating with Transport Implementation Planning, Regional Project Managers, Network Operations, and cross-functional teams.
The primary focus is executing Transport Engineering activities, including ISPEC creation and management, resolving complex circuit migration challenges, supporting network reroutes, and driving successful facility decommissioning efforts. This is a high-impact role focused on accelerating network optimization initiatives and delivering significant operational cost savings.
Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Engineering- Execute end-to-end Transport Engineering functions.
- Generate, manage, and maintain ISPECs for network rerouting and equipment decommissioning.
- Support circuit migration, traffic rerouting, and network optimization activities.
- Manage technical site exit and facility shutdown activities.
- Resolve circuit-level and technical bottlenecks impacting decommissioning timelines.
- Coordinate legacy equipment removal and complete facility/cage exits.
- Work closely with Transport Planning, Project Managers, and Network Operations teams.
- Align engineering deliverables with project milestones and implementation schedules.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Support strategic network modernization initiatives.
- Accelerate infrastructure consolidation projects.
- Contribute to operational efficiency and enterprise cost-saving initiatives.
- 5–7 years of Transport Network Engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of transport networks, circuit routing, and network topology.
- Hands-on experience with ISPEC generation and management.
- Experience with circuit design, traffic rerouting, and circuit grooming strategies.
- Experience supporting facility shutdowns and network decommissioning projects.
- Knowledge of legacy equipment retirement and infrastructure consolidation.
- Ability to resolve network dependencies and manage aggressive project timelines.
- Strong collaboration skills with Engineering, Planning, Project Management, and Operations teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- Experience with large-scale Data Center migration projects.
- Background in network modernization initiatives.
- Experience supporting transport implementation planning.
- Knowledge of circuit inventory and transport infrastructure management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
