Data Center Commissioning Engineer; CxA

Location: Ashburn / Manassas, VA (Northern Virginia — on-site)

You’ll own the commissioning process end-to-end on hyperscale data center campuses across Northern Virginia — from design review and script development through to integrated systems testing (IST) and turnover to operations. You’ll be the person the owner trusts to prove the building works before the servers land.

• Lead Level 1–5 commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, switch gear, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, BMS/EPMS)
• Develop and execute commissioning scripts, method statements and IST procedures
• Coordinate GC, MEP subs, vendors and the client's operations team through each Cx level
• Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT) and lead site acceptance testing (SAT)
• Document issues, drive resolution, and manage turnover packages to operations

• 5+ years commissioning experience on data center or mission‑critical facilities
• Hands‑on with Level 4/5 integrated systems testing on live builds
• Strong grasp of NFPA 70E, arc‑flash safety and OSHA 30 site requirements
• Comfortable reading electrical one‑lines and mechanical schematics

• ACG CxA or ASHRAE BCxP certification
• NETA experience for electrical commissioning
• Prior hyperscaler campus experience (AWS, Microsoft, Meta, Google, Oracle)
