Job Description
- 2-5 years minimum hands‑on experience in‑home network technologies. Prefer experience with Quality of Service (QoS) and multicast video delivery.
- 2-5 years’ experience with the TCP/IP protocol suite and technologies (IP, IPv6, QoS, IGMP, TCP, UDP, ARP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, LAN and WAN, Routers, Switches, Throughput and Latency, etc.)
- 2-5 years hands‑on experience configuring and testing, diagnosing, troubleshooting in‑home router features and services.
- 2-5 years executing tests and preparing test plans and test reports.
- 2-5 years’ experience with Linux and Windows systems and software deployment.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- 2-5 years’ experience with software architecture and programming concepts (scripting and automation).
- In-depth knowledge and experience with IPv6, QoS, IGMP technologies.
- Experience with Multimedia over Coax (MoCA).
- BS degree in a technical field – preferably in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Engineering with concentration in network engineering.
