Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer

• Report to the Technical Director within a matrixed organization
• Partner with systems, hardware, software, and test engineering teams across the program
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in simulated and real-world environments
• Perform and execute tests
• Support hardware buildup of test assets, including understanding requirements, physically completing builds, and documenting builds
• Install software and hardware on prototype systems to test and validate features and functions
• Plan and execute integration and testing across a wide variety of military equipment
• Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis and debugging
• Support failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action
• Collect and analyze data to ensure system performance and provide detailed reports
• Create and modify test procedures, reports, bug tickets, and other technical documentation
• Coordinate with engineering groups, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Provide occasional offsite support for tests, equipment demonstrations, vendor facilities, and customer locations

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Hardware and software troubleshooting experience
• Proficient with test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and multimeters
• Comfortable navigating a Linux environment, including utilizing the command line, running scripts, and working with debugging utilities
• Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable presenting to groups, demonstrating equipment, and conducting testing in front of customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with embedded GNSS systems, understanding of GPS concepts, experience with GNSS simulators, and understanding of PNT distribution to external systems and users (preferred)
• Experience generating technical documentation such as trade studies, test plans, test procedures, or technical reports (preferred)
• Experience managing and presenting technical data to stakeholders and customer communities in design reviews and technical interchange meetings (preferred)

Demonstrates expertise in developing and implementing test plans and procedures, with a strong focus on hardware and software troubleshooting, data analysis, and technical documentation. Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting technical data to stakeholders.
