Dispensing Pharmacist - Long Term Care - Part Time

This role is based in a closed‑door Long Term Care facility (non‑customer‑facing) Omnicare®, a CVS Health company. You will serve as a pharmacist responsible for supporting Omnicare patients, providers, and business operations.

• Ensure accurate entry of orders
• Maintain security of the pharmacy
• Adhere to required delivery schedules
• Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy
• Check for completeness and precision of new and refill labels and orders
• Check content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling
• Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV drug products or solutions, if required
• Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs
• Apply knowledge of DEA and state law regarding controlled drug dispensing
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during scheduled rotation based on the needs of the business
• Follow all applicable state and government regulations including HIPAA
• Perform additional duties as assigned (vary by location)

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of Virginia, active and in good standing

• Long Term Care pharmacy experience
• IV Certification or experience
• Immunization certification or willingness to become immunization certified

Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

Pay range: $60.58—$101.54 per hour (or base annual full‑time equivalent). Actual salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors.
