  • Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
  • Complete evaluations, progress notes and required documentation promptly.
  • Provide parents with education and home-practice recommendations.
  • Coordinate care with Kids Watch pediatricians and outside providers when authorized.
  • Follow payer authorization, visit-limit and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with developing appropriate clinical workflows and assessment resources for the new program.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Virginia speech-language pathology license.
  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology—CCC-SLP.
  • At least two years of pediatric clinical experience preferred.
  • Type 1 NPI and current CAQH profile, or willingness to establish and maintain them.
  • Willingness to complete payer credentialing and enrollment through Kids Watch Pediatrics.
  • Professional liability coverage as required by the practice.
  • Strong clinical documentation, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to commit to a consistent weekly afternoon or early-evening schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Outpatient pediatric or private-practice experience.
  • Experience with Early Intervention and school referrals.
  • Feeding, AAC or autism-related communication experience.
  • Bilingual skills.

What Kids Watch Offers:

  • Payment for all required clinical, documentation, training and meeting time.
  • Existing pediatric referral relationships.
  • Administrative, scheduling, authorization and billing support.
  • Furnished clinical space and evaluation materials.
  • Collaboration with pediatric medical providers.
  • Opportunity to help shape a new pediatric speech-therapy program.
  • Potential for increased hours as the caseload grows.
