Full Time LMSW Resident Therapist
Think Happy Live Healthy is seeking a full-time LMSW Resident (Resident in Social Work) to provide therapy primarily to adult clients with a specific focus in anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and EMDR. This hybrid position includes both in-person sessions at our Falls Church or Ashburn office and telehealth appointments, with some in-person availability required. This is an excellent opportunity for a resident looking to build a full caseload with consistent referrals, strong clinical supervision, and administrative support, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional care rather than finding clients.
Pay: $75,000-$80,000/year (range varies based on caseload and schedule)

Who This Role Is For
You are a Virginia LMSW Resident (Resident in Social Work) who is passionate about helping adults navigate life's challenges through evidence-based therapy.

Schedule and location
Hybrid position with a combination of in-person and telehealth sessions
In-person availability required at either our Falls Church or Ashburn office
Evening availability is required
Early morning availability is highly preferred
Minimum expectation of 20 client sessions per week
What you'll do
Provide individual psychotherapy primarily to adult clients using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Treat a range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and other common mental health conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and needs.
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including therapists, psychiatry providers, and psychological testing specialists, to provide coordinated care.
Maintain timely, accurate, and ethical clinical documentation in our electronic health record (EHR).
Participate in clinical supervision, consultation, and ongoing professional development as required for your residency.

Qualifications
Active Virginia Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with Resident in Social Work status, working toward LCSW licensure.
Experience working with or a strong interest in treating adults with anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and related mental health concerns.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to provide in-person therapy at either our Falls Church or Ashburn office, with required evening availability.
