Behavior Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy in a home setting
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Collect data and complete progress notes
• Collaborate with the BCBA Supervisor
• Support children in building meaningful life and social skills
• Work physically at the job location 20–30 hours per week

• Experience working with children with special needs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication
• Visual acuity to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation
• Must be physically present at the job location 20–30 hours per week
• Able to comply with practice policies and procedures and the ethical guidelines of RBTs
• Must have a mobile device (such as a smart phone or tablet) to bring to work
• Must be able to perform physical and repetitive activities including standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Must exhibit satisfactory manual dexterity, auditory, and visual skills
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to or more than 50 lbs

Demonstrates expertise in providing ABA therapy and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans while effectively collaborating with supervisors and supporting children in developing essential life and social skills.
