This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ashburn, VA, for an Entry-Level Cyber Security Assessor. The individual in this role will perform day-to-day responsibilities, including conducting vulnerability assessments, identifying potential risks, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The Cyber Security Assessor will collaborate with team members to analyze findings and produce detailed reports and recommendations to improve the security posture of the client's systems.
This position requires close collaboration and communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be US Citizen with Active DHS Clearance
- Understanding of vulnerability assessments, security compliance, and risk management principles
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity tools, frameworks, and best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to a collaborative, client-focused environment
- Certification(s) such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or related cybersecurity certifications are preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
