Clearance: U.S. Citizen;
Active DHS Clearance, DoD Top Secret Clearance, or Q-level Clearance.
- Lead design and architecture of Service Now solutions to support multiple task areas.
- Define and enforce Service Now development standards, platform governance, and security controls.
- Imagine and prototype innovative Service Now solutions with Service Now AI platform and/or integrations with external AI tools.
- Ensure Service Now aligns with government standards and FedRAMP requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to define scope, gather requirements, develop the implementation roadmap, and ensure the Service Now platform design aligns with business processes and objectives.
- Oversee platform configuration, integrations, and delivery lifecycle:
Manage build activities across dev/test/prod environments, ensure data migration and workflows are implemented according to standards, and track dependencies across work streams. - Drive quality assurance, compliance, and transition to operations: enforce best practices, coordinate testing and UAT, manage change control, ensure documentation is complete, and support knowledge transfer and go-live readiness.
- Present Service Now roadmaps, architecture decisions, and enhancement strategies in PMRs and stakeholder meetings.
- Serve as the Service Now subject matter expert for government leadership and OIT governance bodies.
- U.S. Citizen;
Active Top-Secret Clearance or DHS Public Trust Clearance. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related discipline.
- 7+ years of development/architecture experience, with at least 3 years in a senior architect role supporting Service Now development work.
- Proven experience working with scoped applications in Service Now.
- Proficient in cloud-based enterprise application platforms for IT services, operations, and business management.
- Experience working in agile teams.
- Proven ability to design, configure, and implement complex Service Now modules and workflows.
- Deep understanding of Service Now platform architecture, scripting, and integration methods (APIs, web services, MID servers).
- Experience supporting federal enterprise programs, with emphasis on governance and compliance.
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical teams and government stakeholders.
- Service Now Application Developer / CSA (Certified Service Now Administrator) certifications highly desirable.
- Experience with DHS or CBP programs.
- Knowledge of enterprise governance and AI/automation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Section 508, FISMA, and FedRAMP requirements.
