Telecom Inventory Analyst

Our client is seeking a dedicated Telecom Inventory Analyst to join their team. As a Telecom Inventory Analyst, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Telecom Inventory Analyst

Location: Ashburn, VA

What's the Job?

• Research third-party vendor cross-connect inventories to identify and eliminate stranded cross-connects.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Provisioning, and Field Operations to gather and verify data on circuits and inventory.
• Create detailed line-item views of vendor-billed inventory, ensuring traceability to internal records.
• Assist in disconnecting unused circuits to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Utilize various company and vendor systems to support inventory management and process improvements.

What's Needed?

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including lookups, data parsing, and record keeping.
• Experience with Google Tool Suite for data management and collaboration.
• Understanding of telecom circuit types, configurations, topologies, and data center operations.
• Prior experience in telecom inventory management or related roles is advantageous.
