- Possess expert‑level knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles, best practices, and methodologies (e.g., ITIL, ISO 19770), coupled with a deep understanding of hardware, software, and cloud asset life cycles.
- Proficiency in asset discovery tools and techniques for various environments (network, endpoint, cloud) and a strong understanding of software licensing models, compliance, and optimization strategies.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF, CSF) and familiarity with secure configuration baselines and configuration management best practices.
- Ability to integrate asset data into security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
- Extensive experience with leading ITAM/EAM platforms and CMDB solutions (e.g., Service Now, Flexera, Ivanti, BMC) including experience evaluating, implementing, and managing asset management tools.
- Familiarity with automation concepts and scripting for asset data collection and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to develop and track KPIs and metrics for asset management effectiveness and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive professional experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) roles, with at least 3–5 years in a lead or managerial capacity overseeing asset management programs within a large, complex enterprise environment.
- Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)
- Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)
- ITIL Foundation or higher (e.g., ITIL v4 Managing Professional)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) in hybrid environments that include mobile devices, multi‑cloud environments, on‑premise, data centers, or IoT.
- Active or interim Secret clearance.
- Monday‑Friday, Hybrid.
