Project Manager, Cybersecurity, Systems Analyst

At Leidos, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for government clients. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Security Operations Center (SOC) is a U.S. Government program tasked with preventing, identifying, containing, and eradicating cyber threats to CBP networks. The role focuses on leading critical SOC engineering projects (e.g., launching applications into AWS Cloud, Splunk logging, SIEM implementation), collaborating with customers on operational priorities, and driving project schedules to completion.

• Lead highly visible CBP SOC projects and initiatives to closure
• Lead key customer briefings and generally assisting the SOC leadership (government and contractor in execution and strategy)
• Lead updates to Processes, SOPs, and Best Practices
• Ensure high quality of all contractual deliverables
• Facilitate quality comments back to the analysts and leads for the source data to ensure the best data for future analysis
• Mentor Jr Project Managers as needed

• Requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8-12+ years or prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Strong customer interfacing experience
• Experience with ITIL practices
• 8-12+ years technical experience with project leadership
• Experience with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong written and oral communication with the ability to communicate with team members, management and customers.
• Clearance:
  In addition to specific security clearance requirements all CBP SOC employees are required to successfully complete a CBP Background Investigation to support this program

• PMP Certification
• Experience in cyber security
• Previous experience with DHS or CBP customer
• Experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) or Networking Operations
• Experience developing Agile processes
• Experience Leading a team
• Experience Architecting a Task Management solution like Remedy or JIRA
• Experience with Splunk
• Experience with AWS Cloud
• Experience with RSA Archer
• Experience with MS Project/Visio
• Experience with PowerBI
