Fiber Optic Splicers Needed
Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add multiple Fiber Optic Splicers to the team in Ashburn, VA. Please see below for full details:
Job Notes:
4+ week contract / extensions possible but not guaranteed
Note:
All hires will work 12 hours days with 6-day weeks. Onsite in Ashburn, VA Drug & Background required.
Pay Rate = $35 per hour
Shifts:
12 hours on / 12 hours off – 6 days per week
Project:
Participating in growing and maintaining a major data center. Scope & Requirements:
- High-density ribbon splicing (12-strand; 16-strand experience is a plus)
- Installation, dressing, and securing of high-count fiber trunks
- Frame and rack splicing
- EXFO OTDR and OLTS testing
- High-volume labeling and documentation
- Familiarity with cable tray systems and Max Cell pathways
