Lcnc QA Tester Application Development

Blu Omega is seeking a LCNC QA Tester to support a federal health program focused on enterprise applications and data modernization. This role operates within a remote environment and is responsible for testing and validating low-code/no-code (LCNC) applications and data solutions to ensure stability, security, and quality. The position requires experience supporting application testing within a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform automated and manual testing, including functional, regression, usability, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate end-to-end functionality and system performance.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and validation strategies for Microsoft Dynamics and web-based applications.
  • Support, refine, and troubleshoot test automation and CI/CD processes using Azure Dev Ops.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, Product Owners, and QA team members to define test strategies, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and communicate defects, track issues through resolution, and validate fixes.
  • Continuously improve test coverage, QA processes, automation approaches, and testing frameworks.
  • Maintain detailed test documentation, defect reports, and quality artifacts.
  • Ensure applications meet functional, performance, usability, and compliance standards.
  • Promote quality throughout the software development lifecycle within Agile teams.

Required qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience testing Microsoft Dynamics applications.
  • 2+ years supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops.
  • Experience designing and executing test plans for web-based data platforms or applications.
  • Proficiency in functional, regression, usability, and UAT testing.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies and QA practices.
  • Experience working within Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience automating test cases with Microsoft Playwright.
  • Knowledge of human-centered design, usability testing, and Section 508 accessibility.
  • Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops  practices in low-code/no-code environments.
  • Experience with AI-powered QA tools, Git Hub Copilot, or similar technologies.
  • Support experience with Microsoft Power Platform or other low-code/no-code tools.
  • Background supporting federal government, public health, healthcare, or large-scale digital services.

Compensation:
Salary range: $62,000.00 - $72,000.00 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
