Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SFMC Senior Developer / Solution Architect to own the technical design, implementation, and optimization of a cross-channel marketing automation engine. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution - designing complex customer journeys, optimizing data structures, and ensuring seamless execution across all campaigns. The ideal candidate is comfortable working autonomously, providing technical guidance to marketing stakeholders, and troubleshooting production issues in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, build, and maintain multi-channel journeys in Journey Builder using entry event triggers, decision splits, engagement splits, and custom API integrations
• Design data extensions, contact models, and automation workflows in Automation Studio using SQL, SSJS, and Import/Export activities
• Write robust AMPscript, SSJS, and Dynamic Content blocks for personalized email campaigns and web experiences at scale
• Oversee end-to-end setup and delivery of email, SMS, and push campaigns via Email Studio and Mobile Studio
• Act as the primary technical SME for marketing teams, troubleshooting journey errors and defining audience segmentation logic
• Integrate SFMC with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud via Marketing Cloud Connect and external data sources using REST/SOAP APIs

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• 3-4+ years of hands-on technical experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Advanced proficiency with Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Content Builder
• Strong expertise in SQL (SQL Server dialect), AMPscript, and working knowledge of SSJS, HTML, and CSS
• Solid understanding of relational database principles and data retention policies within SFMC
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and troubleshoot production incidents

Preferred Qualifications &

Certifications:

• Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer (strongly preferred)
• Bonus:
  Marketing Cloud Administrator or Marketing Cloud Consultant / Solution Architect certification
• Hands-on experience with Marketing Cloud Connect integration
• Familiarity with Mobile Studio (SMS/Push), Cloud Pages, and interactive content
• Exposure to Web Analytics (GA4 / Salesforce Intelligence) and reporting.
