Facilities Operations Manager

Duration: 3+ months - Potential to convert to FTE Pay rate : $65- $70/hr on w2 Summary

The Engineering Operations Sr. Manager oversees daily operations of a mission-critical data center environment. This role leads union engineering staff, ensures reliability of critical power and cooling systems, manages vendors, and drives safe, efficient facility performance. The ideal candidate brings strong people leadership experience and hands-on knowledge of UPS and critical cooling systems within a data center setting.

• Lead and manage a team of union engineers (CWA)
• Oversee daily building operations, preventive maintenance, and work orders
• Ensure reliability of UPS, critical power, and cooling systems
• Manage vendors, schedules, payroll, and contractor performance
• Review and assign Service Now tickets and monitor SLAs
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
• Support client interactions and site reporting

• 5–8 years of experience in data center or mission-critical facilities
• Working knowledge of UPS, generators, switch gear, and critical cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers)
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs
• Familiarity with Service Now or similar CMMS
• Relevant licenses/certifications highly preferred
