In the role of Vice President, Corporate Strategy you enjoy leading efforts directly impacting our overall success as an organization. Serving as a direct resource to our executive leadership teams, you thrive on being the primary resource for high‑impact thought partnership, project support, and analytical support. Leveraging your experience working in a large consulting firm, you will be responsible for sourcing, leading, and delivering strategic initiatives across all parts of QTS.
The Impact You Will HaveOperating as our Vice President, Corporate Strategy, your work will directly support the QTS Executive Team as they make significant decisions about how QTS executes at scale and drives success through strategic planning and initiatives. You’ll routinely work with C‑Suite leadership to understand their strategic needs, develop and execute analyses to address those needs, present the findings and recommendations directly, and support the implementation of selected recommendations.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders at all levels to ensure every initiative is well informed, appropriately resourced, and connected to QTS business objectives. You will be supported by and directly manage a strategy team.
- Translate broad demand requests and ideas into structured, executable project plans.
- Manage and/or execute qualitative and quantitative analysis with a balance of rigor and speed.
- Develop proficiency in working with QTS & industry data sources.
- Lead and influence cross‑functional teams to achieve program objectives.
- Build and lead a team of high‑performing strategic analysts at various levels of tenure, experience, and development stages.
- Build effective working relationships within each QTS organization to expedite work and outcomes.
- Present project plans, analytical findings, and recommendations to multiple levels of QTS leadership.
- Translate project plans, analytical findings, and recommendations into executive‑ready work products.
- Execute all aspects of your role with the utmost confidentiality.
- Adapt to changes in priorities or direction with urgency.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ten or more years of overall professional experience.
- Five or more years of strategy or management consulting experience within a large consulting firm.
- Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in various project management methodologies, leveraged to plan, execute, and evaluate programs.
- Experience leveraging analytical skills to assess program effectiveness and make data‑driven decisions.
- Ability to leverage existing problem‑solving skills to address challenges and optimize program outcomes.
- Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.
- Masters in business administration or other applicable advanced degrees is strongly preferred.
- Fifteen or more years of professional experience is preferred.
- Seven or more years of strategy or management consulting experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities to guide and motivate project teams.
- Experience aligning programs with organizational strategy, to contribute to overall business objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
