HQ seeks a Mission Critical Coordinator with a solid background in data center operations experience to join our Operations Team. You will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our facility, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager. The successful candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of large‑scale data centers and a thorough understanding of building monitoring systems that assist in the operation and management of electrical distribution and mechanical systems.
The Role Entails
The Mission Critical Coordinator shall schedule, coordinate, and participate in all significant planned and emergency maintenance for the facility. The Coordinator shall ensure that these activities are executed in a controlled and proven manner that preserves the uninterrupted integrity of the critical loads. Your skills and expertise will be fully utilized as you work collaboratively with the team to maintain the smooth operation of our facilities.
RequirementsWhat You Will Get to Do
- Implement operating and maintenance strategies to ensure the continuous availability of all critical systems.
- Review preventative and predictive maintenance programs for critical equipment.
- Implement procedures and maintenance checklists within the site’s CMMS platform.
- Coordinate and inspect services performed by outsourced vendors.
- Manage costs and budgets associated with the infrastructure and operations.
- Maintain an environment where diligence in policies and proven processes is paramount.
- Ensure best practices and standards are adopted and enforced.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation.
- Establish and cultivate relationships with key contacts internally and externally.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to incorporate the best electrical solutions in our facilities.
The Role
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite applications, Bluebeam Revu, Teams, and Zoom.
- Proven written communication and technical writing skills.
- Complex problem‑solving using analysis, technical and organizational expertise.
- Identify industry trends and articulate implications for Data Center operations.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency.
- Extended hours may be significant at times.
- Ability and willingness to respond to emails after hours in case of an emergency.
- Two (2) years of professional experience in operations and maintenance in a high‑reliability Data Center environment.
- Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or equivalent.
- Applicable Engineering Degree or equivalent.
