Manufacturing Manager

Job Summary

Directs and coordinates all manufacturing operations to ensure quality, on‑time, cost‑effective delivery of products. Oversees manufacturing, inventory control, production control, and process engineering. Recommends and implements manufacturing policies and programs to maintain and improve the company’s competitive position.

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all manufacturing activities for Cubic.
• Establish methods and measures to ensure high quality and low‑cost processes.
• Lead continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
• Integrate planning of internal and contract manufacturing coordination and execution.
• Manage material flow within a dynamic business environment.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, business management, and senior executives.
• Perform administrative activities: employee selection and development, pay administration, budget administration, employee safety, counseling and motivation, organization goals and objectives, and planning/organizing/monitoring work.
• Ensure inventory controls, inventory levels, and material flow are consistent with budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with company policy and local regulations.
• Direct installation and maintenance of all processing equipment.
• Prepare specifications for purchase of plant equipment, supplies, and materials to meet production schedules and quality standards.

• Four‑year college degree in a technical field or business administration plus ten years related experience, including five years management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Familiarity with personal computer software.
• Mentally capable of performing responsibilities under high levels of stress.
• Ability to set priorities and handle multiple assignments.

Pay range: $105,000 – $145,000 plus benefits.
