  • Veterinarian
    - Ashburn, Virginia
  • $110,000-$150,000 | Multi-Doctor Team | Advanced Medicine & Surgery

This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who wants to practice high-quality medicine within a collaborative multi-doctor environment, with access to advanced diagnostics, surgery, dentistry and urgent care capabilities. The hospital combines comprehensive preventative medicine with the ability to work up more complex medical and surgical cases in-house, creating a varied and rewarding caseload. Whether you're an experienced veterinarian looking for greater clinical variety or a developing doctor keen to strengthen your medical, diagnostic and surgical skills, you'll be joining an experienced team committed to providing thoughtful, individualized patient care.

About

the Practice

You'll become part of an established multi-doctor veterinary team, supported by an experienced hospital manager and a wider team of veterinary support professionals.

The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, covering everything from routine preventative medicine through to diagnostics, urgent cases and advanced surgical procedures.

Clinical services include:
  • Wellness examinations and preventative medicine
  • Vaccinations and parasite prevention
  • Puppy, kitten and senior pet care
  • Internal medicine and chronic disease management
  • Bloodwork, urinalysis and laboratory testing
  • Digital radiography
  • Ultrasound

  • Routine and surgical dental extractions
  • Soft tissue surgery
  • Spay and neuter procedures
  • Mass removals

  • Orthopedic surgery

The hospital places a strong emphasis on diagnostics and early detection, giving veterinarians access to blood and laboratory testing, digital X-rays and ultrasound to investigate cases thoroughly and make informed treatment decisions.

Surgery & Dentistry

For veterinarians with an interest in surgery, this position provides exposure to a particularly varied caseload.

Alongside routine procedures, the clinical team manages soft tissue surgery, mass removals and a range of orthopedic cases. Modern anesthetic protocols and patient-monitoring equipment are used to support patient safety throughout procedures.

Dentistry is another important part of the hospital's caseload, with dental radiography available to investigate disease below the gumline. The team handles routine dental procedures and extractions in-house, with more complex cases referred or managed alongside appropriate specialists.

This creates an excellent environment for a veterinarian looking to maintain or further develop their surgical and dental skills.

Diagnostics & Urgent Care

The hospital is equipped to investigate cases beyond routine general practice, with diagnostic capabilities including:

  • Digital radiography
  • Ultrasound
  • In-house blood and laboratory testing
  • Urinalysis and preventative screening
