Test Automation Engineer

Marathon TS is looking to hire an onsite Test Automation Engineer to support a Federal Agency in Washington DC. The individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites using Playwright and BDD methodologies, while also performing manual testing, regression testing, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, business analysts, and architects to ensure high-quality software releases.

All candidates should have the following experience: 5-8 years of software testing and quality assurance experience. Hands-on experience with Playwright test automation. Experience with BDD frameworks and Gherkin scenarios. Experience with XRay, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, and Visual Studio. Experience creating automated UI, functional, and regression tests. Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional development teams.
