Part Time Merchandiser

Pay Range: $20.00 - $20.87 Hourly, depending on experience

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Open Availability Required

The Merchandiser is responsible for presenting products in a way that attracts customers at retail locations. This role services and maintains multiple bulk accounts by merchandising approved products and packages using safe handling techniques and following quality guidelines. Ability to follow planograms and communicate with store management and cross-functional personnel.

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs
• Physically moves products from the backroom to display
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelves where permitted; rotates product; supports Fastlane merchandisers and vendors; coordinates with vendors for proper operation
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor; manages return of empty pallets and shells; handles damaged and out-of-date product
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities

• Effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing
• Customer service experience preferred in a retail setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills to meet diverse customer needs
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly)
• Ability to work reliably and independently with minimal supervision
• Critical thinking skills
• Company provided cell phone

• Valid instate driver’s license
• Excellent driving history
• Proof of insurance coverage at a minimum of 50,000 per person/100,000 per accident/50,000 property damage with a 500 or less deductible

• Excellent driving history

The work environment will vary and may include exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas that may be non-temperature controlled.
