Security Officer Part Time - Overnight Shift

Security Officer Patrol Reception in Ashburn, VA – Part‑time overnight shift (Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM). In this unarmed role you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to discourage security incidents, provide outstanding customer service, and support access awareness and site needs.

Pay Rate: $23.36 / Hour

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and problem‑solve, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations in accordance with site instructions.
• Support daily property operations by assisting with visitor directions, monitoring high‑traffic areas, and completing detailed reports related to security‑related events and/or observations.

• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
