As a Security Officer Patrol Services Full Time in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location focused on education. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to students, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or community members by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site expectations.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout school buildings, parking areas, athletic spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
* Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with site personnel regarding security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
* Support daily campus operations during arrival, dismissal, events, and/or after-hours activities by maintaining a visible presence and providing clear directions and assistance as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* A guard card or license is preferred.
* CPR certification is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
