** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by greeting employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk and carrying out site-specific security-related procedures for a financial institution location.

+ Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with location policies.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.

+ Answer phones, manage front desk communications, and support reporting of security-related concerns, service requests, and daily activity documentation.

+ Observe entry points and high-traffic reception areas, report maintenance issues and/or suspicious behavior, and follow post orders and emergency response protocols as directed.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
