Security Officer Weekends - Part Time

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. In this role you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security‑related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will support access awareness and respond to site needs with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.45 / Hour

• Saturday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
• Sunday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity calmly, document observations, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, office areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support closing and opening activities, observe cash handling and high‑traffic areas from a security perspective, and provide clear incident reports at the end of each shift.

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
