In this unarmed patrol role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to students, staff, and visitors.

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public education location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas, assisting with access control, visitor screening, and direction‑giving while following site‑specific protocols.
• Support daily operations during arrivals, dismissals, events, and after‑hours activity by observing surroundings, reporting concerns, and providing a professional presence across the location.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
