As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Incident Response in Ashburn, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public school location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thu 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate school personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns to designated personnel.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
