Field Service Technician
Location:
Ashburn VA 20147
Area of work:
Able to drive within a 60 mile radius of servicing sites.
Duration: 6 months (Contract to Hire)
Pay range 31.25 per hour ($36 to $46 for Engineering Degree)
Expenses: Mileage provided while driving to work sites in the area. Mileage is to the site and between sites is covered. The mileage home is not covered. One direction pay on days they go to sites other than the office address. On days there is no drive to a site, the technician isn t always required to come to the office address.

Duties:
- Installation and Commissioning:
Install and commission Client systems, ensuring all components are correctly integrated and functioning. - Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot issues with Client components - Software Management:
Download, update, and verify the accuracy of software used in Client systems. - Calibration and Testing:
Calibrate and test HVAC systems and controls to ensure optimal performance. - Monitoring and Diagnostics:
Monitor Client components for efficiency and safety, and provide diagnostics and repairs as needed - Staying in compliance of company required trainings.
- A minimum of 3-6 years experience in applicable fields: (Client controls, HVAC controls, Controls Commissioning, PLC Programming).
- Proficiency in HVAC systems, electrical systems, and computer networking.
- Previous experience in Client or related fields.
- Problem-Solving:
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Communication:
Good communication skills for coordinating with other technicians and stakeholders
Certifications: - Relevant certifications in HVAC, electrical systems, or Client technologies
- Tech school Grad or a 4yr degree in Mechanical/Electrical is top pick.
